Books I Read/ That Inspire Me

Even though CD's only care about the book when choosing their next candidate for hire... I'd figure I would list all the books/resources that have helped and inspired me building my portfolio and pursuing my career as a copywriter.

1. How To Get The Advertising Job You Want. By Dave Holloway.

2. CMYK Magazines (Various issues currently scattered across my coffee table)

3. Lurzer's International Archive

4. Hey Whipple, Squeeze This. By Luke Sullivan

5. The Copywriter's Handbook. By Robert Bly

6. Words that Sell. By Richard Bayan

7. Ogilvy on Advertising. By David Ogilvy

8. The Creative Habit- Learn It And Use It For Life. By Twyla Tharp

9. Communication Arts Magazine

10. Radical Careering by Sally Hogshead

11. It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want To Be. By Paul Arden

12. Absolut Book. By Richard W. Lewis : The Coolest Book on My Coffee Table

These are the books I currently own. I didn't include the many other ad books and magazines I have studied while spending time at the nearby Barnes & Nobles.
